Heidi Tingey, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Nephrology Specialists of Tulsa. She joined the staff in September 2021. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The University of Tulsa, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her doctoral research included a quality improvement initiative focused on the impact of educational interventions on early sepsis recognition. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, awarded cum laude, from the same institution.
Heidi currently provides care in outpatient dialysis clinics in Tulsa and the surrounding areas. She contributes a robust foundation in patient-centered, evidence-based care, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive assessment, patient education, and meticulous care coordination. She specializes in the management of complex medical conditions, the delivery of preventive care services, and supporting patients through the intricacies of chronic disease management.
