Dr. Muna Hale

DO

Dr. Muna Hale is a board-certified nephrologist providing comprehensive kidney care at Nephrology Specialists of Tulsa. She completed her internal medicine residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, where she was named Internal Medicine Resident of the Year, and then pursued fellowship training in nephrology at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine. She further advanced her expertise through a Glomerular Disease Fellowship with GlomCon, strengthening her clinical focus in complex glomerular disorders.

Dr. Hale cares for patients across the full spectrum of kidney disease, including chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, and dialysis management in both hospital and outpatient settings. Known for her thoughtful, patient-centered approach, she emphasizes education, safety, and clear communication, drawing on her leadership experience in patient safety and morbidity and mortality review. Her academic contributions include multiple poster presentations and publications at national nephrology conferences.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hale enjoys singing, running, cooking, traveling, and martial arts, reflecting her commitment to balance, discipline, and lifelong growth.
