Dr. Irfan Kundi is a board-certified nephrologist with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in transplant nephrology, dialysis, and comprehensive kidney care. He earned his medical degree from Khyber Medical College and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, followed by fellowship training in nephrology at UAMS and advanced training in transplant nephrology at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Kundi’s clinical focus includes kidney transplantation, home dialysis therapies, and the management of complex kidney disease. He serves as Medical Director of the St. John Kidney Transplant Program and provides leadership at multiple dialysis centers across the region. His approach to care emphasizes careful coordination, long-term planning, and helping patients navigate some of the most critical decisions related to kidney failure and transplantation.
He works closely with referring physicians, transplant teams, and dialysis providers to ensure patients experience seamless transitions across every phase of care. His commitment to collaboration and clear communication helps support both patient confidence and continuity of treatment.
